Kastle Systems Access Credentials Compatible Cards & Fobs
Kastle Systems uses proprietary 32-bit 125 kHz proximity credentials managed through their platform — AKC can supply standard 26-bit prox cards for Kastle buildings where readers also accept standard formats.
Kastle Systems is a major managed-access provider for US commercial real estate, issuing proprietary 32-bit proximity cards and fobs through their centralized platform. Their readers often also accept standard 26-bit Wiegand credentials, for which AKC can supply compatible cards; however, Kastle-programmed credentials with building-specific facility codes must be sourced through Kastle's own ordering portal.

Our compatible Kastle Systems Access Credentials credentials
American Key Cards manufactures non-OEM credentials engineered to work with your existing Kastle Systems readers — no hardware changes, encoded to your facility code and card-number range.
Can Kastle Systems Access Credentials cards be copied?
Kastle Systems Access Credentials is an open format, so a compatible card can be produced from your facility code and card number. We don't copy individual cards on request — we manufacture new, correctly-encoded credentials for systems you own or manage.
Kastle's 32-bit proximity credentials operate on legacy 125 kHz technology with no cryptographic protection and are vulnerable to cloning using commercially available RFID copiers. Kastle does offer mobile credentials via BLE/NFC (KastlePresence and KastleResident apps) which are significantly more secure. For tenants, card ordering must typically go through the building's Kastle account at mykastle.com.

Can I get a replacement Kastle access card from a third party?
Kastle-programmed credentials with your building's specific facility code must be ordered through Kastle (via mykastle.com). However, if your building's readers also accept standard 26-bit prox, AKC can supply compatible cards — check with your building manager to confirm the card format in use.
Are Kastle key cards cloneable?
Yes. Kastle's standard 125 kHz proximity cards have no encryption and can be copied with commercially available RFID copiers. Kastle's newer mobile credentials (BLE/NFC) are not cloneable.
What frequency do Kastle cards use?
Kastle's standard prox cards operate at 125 kHz using a 32-bit Wiegand format. Kastle also offers mobile credentials via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and NFC through their smartphone apps.
