What are Farpointe Pyramid cards and fobs?
Farpointe Pyramid credentials are 125 kHz proximity cards, key fobs and adhesive tags for Farpointe-built readers — hardware many access-control brands rebadge under their own names. Most Pyramid systems run 26-bit Wiegand with a facility code and card number, which American Key Cards programs to your existing scheme without a dealer account. Sites with Farpointe’s MAXSecure coding enabled are identified before any order is produced.

Farpointe Data’s Pyramid line is the quiet workhorse behind many US access panels — Farpointe supplies readers to a long list of access-control brands, so your "house brand" reader may well be a Pyramid under the label. Its 125 kHz credentials follow standard Wiegand formats, most commonly 26-bit, and we supply compatible stock across every common body style.
The one gate to check is MAXSecure: Farpointe’s site-specific credential coding. When a deployment has MAXSecure enabled, generic-format credentials are rejected by design, and we verify this from your reader configuration or a sample credential before anything is produced.

Farpointe manufactures readers for many access-control brands. If your credentials behave like Pyramid stock, the reader likely is one. A photo of the unit lets us confirm and quote correctly.
What happens if MAXSecure is on?
Standard-format credentials will not enroll. Options then run through your integrator and Farpointe’s coded-credential program — we tell you that honestly instead of shipping cards that bounce.
Can I combine cards, fobs and stickers in one order?
Yes, all on the same facility code and a continuous number range, so your panel treats every form factor identically.
Do you support Pyramid key fobs for pools and gyms?
Yes — the fob body is waterproof enough for daily amenity use, and adhesive tags cover users who want nothing extra on their keyring.
