What are Indala compatible proximity cards?
Indala compatible cards are 125 kHz PSK-modulated proximity credentials for legacy Indala readers, supplied in FlexPass 26-bit and Indala 27-bit formats — standard FSK prox stock produces no read on these readers. American Key Cards programs them to your facility code with no dealer account. Secured ASP and FlexSecur credentials carry a site-specific protection layer and are excluded from this product.

About Indala-compatible
Indala’s PSK-modulated proximity — later absorbed into the HID portfolio — still runs doors in government buildings, universities and older corporate campuses. Because Indala uses phase-shift keying rather than the FSK modulation of standard prox, generic 125 kHz stock will not read on an Indala reader; the credential has to be Indala-format from the factory.
We supply FlexPass 26-bit and Indala 27-bit compatible credentials programmed to your facility code. The exclusion is stated plainly: ASP and FlexSecur credentials carry a secured site-specific layer that cannot be legitimately reproduced, so we do not offer them — and we will tell you if that is what you have before you order anything.

Before you order
How to order Indala-compatible correctly
- PSK is the compatibility gate
Indala readers demodulate PSK. FSK cards — standard HID or EM stock — produce nothing. Format-correct sourcing is not optional here.
- ASP / FlexSecur means stop
If your credentials are the secured ASP variant, new compatible stock is not a legitimate option. We identify this from a sample before quoting so nobody wastes money.
- 26-bit vs 27-bit
Indala shipped both a standard 26-bit FlexPass and its own 27-bit format. Your panel accepts one of them; a working card tells us which.

Indala was discontinued — can I still get cards?
HID wound the Indala line down, which is exactly why compatible supply matters: the installed readers keep working for decades, and format-correct credentials keep them useful.
How do I know if I have FlexPass or FlexSecur?
Send us a photo of the card and, ideally, let us read a sample. FlexSecur’s secured layer shows up in verification, and we report back honestly either way.
Do these read on HID readers too?
No — this is Indala-format PSK stock for Indala readers specifically. Buildings with a mixed reader estate need the dual-technology product or separate stocks.
What if my building plans to migrate off Indala?
Order the quantity you need for the interim rather than a career supply, and ask us about dual-technology cards that carry Indala today and your target format tomorrow.
