ProdataKey (PDK) Standard 26-Bit Credential Compatible Cards & Fobs

The standard ProdataKey (PDK) credential is a 125 kHz, 26-bit Wiegand, HID-compatible proximity card or fob (default facility code 077) used across ProdataKey cloud access control installations, with a separate 13.56 MHz Red smart credential available for higher security.

Does American Key Cards make ProdataKey (PDK) Standard 26-Bit Credential compatible cards?

Yes — American Key Cards supplies non-OEM ProdataKey (PDK) Standard 26-Bit Credential compatible cards and key fobs (AKC ProdataKey-Compatible 26-Bit Clamshell Card), encoded to your facility code and card-number range and ready to use on your existing ProdataKey (PDK) readers. No hardware changes, no OEM dealer minimums, at a fraction of OEM pricing.

ProdataKey (PDK) is a US cloud access control platform (pdk.io) whose standard credential is a 125 kHz, 26-bit Wiegand card or fob built on an HID Prox-compatible air interface, shipping with a default facility code of 077 and a 16-bit card number. Because it is unencrypted 125 kHz proximity, the standard PDK credential is cloneable, and PDK reserves its 13.56 MHz ProdataKey Red line for clone-resistant deployments. American Key Cards supplies compatible 26-bit clamshell cards and key fobs across PDK's form-factor range — fob (KFC), clamshell (CSC), printable (CPC), sticker (STK), and wristband (BRC) styles — programmed to your facility code, with no dealer account or OEM minimums required.

Can ProdataKey (PDK) Standard 26-Bit Credential cards be cloned?

Yes — ProdataKey (PDK) Standard 26-Bit Credential is an open format that can be reproduced from its facility code and card number. We don't copy individual cards on request, though — we manufacture new, correctly-encoded credentials for the systems you own or manage.

The standard PDK credential is a 125 kHz, 26-bit Wiegand proximity card with no encryption — the facility code and card number are read directly from the card, so it can be read and copied with commercially available tools such as a Proxmark3 or T5577 duplicator. Because the air interface is HID Prox-compatible, PDK readers also accept matching standard HID-format 26-bit credentials and vice versa. For clone resistance, ProdataKey offers the separate ProdataKey Red 13.56 MHz smart credential line, which uses a higher-security contactless chip and is not the standard format searched here. American Key Cards supplies compatible standard 26-bit credentials programmed to your facility code; we do not clone customer cards.

ProdataKey (PDK) Standard 26-Bit Credential — FAQ

What credential format does ProdataKey use by default?

The standard ProdataKey credential is a 125 kHz, 26-bit Wiegand proximity card or fob with an HID-compatible air interface. It uses an 8-bit facility code (PDK ships with a default facility code of 077, which can be reprogrammed) plus a 16-bit card number supporting up to 65,535 cards per facility code. ProdataKey separately offers the ProdataKey Red 13.56 MHz smart credential for sites that need higher security.

Are ProdataKey 26-bit cards cloneable?

Yes. The standard PDK 26-bit credential operates at 125 kHz with no encryption, so the facility code and card number can be read and copied with common RFID tools. If you need a clone-resistant credential, ProdataKey's 13.56 MHz Red smart card line is the appropriate option. American Key Cards supplies compatible cards programmed to your facility code rather than cloning existing ones.

Can I order ProdataKey-compatible cards without a PDK dealer account?

Yes. American Key Cards programs compatible 125 kHz, 26-bit Wiegand clamshell cards and key fobs to your facility code (including the default 077) and card number range, ready to enroll in pdk.io. Provide your facility code and the card numbers you need and we ship credentials that read directly on your existing PDK readers.
