Paxton is a major access control brand whose Net2 platform uses 125 kHz Hitag2 proximity tokens — the 692-500 ISO card and 695-644 key fob — as its standard credential, encoded with Paxton's proprietary format rather than open HID 26-bit prox. American Key Cards supplies compatible Net2 Hitag2 proximity cards and fobs that read directly on Paxton readers, without the Paxton installer channel. The standard Hitag2 tokens are cloneable to other Hitag2 tags; Paxton's separate 13.56 MHz MIFARE line (MIFARE Classic is clonable, MIFARE DESFire is encrypted and not clonable) is the option for clone-resistant sites.
